The Australian Women’s Leadership Forum

The Australian Women’s Leadership Forum
Local women have the opportunity to attend a Leadership forum headlined by Tracey Spicer AM.
The Australian Women’s Leadership Forum, presented by Women & Leadership Australia (WLA), provides women working in regional Australia with a unique opportunity to access high quality leadership training, engage with their peers, and discuss how women can support each other and break down barriers in the workplace.

“One third of Australian women live in rural and regional areas, and we are very excited to introduce these hardworking women to new and engaging leadership development experiences and networking opportunities.” – Suzi Finkelstein, Director of Leadership and Advocacy at WLA.

Forum attendees will be addressed by keynote speaker, Tracey Spicer, as well as a selection of Townsville’s finest business and career leaders.  The forum program is perfect for women seeking increased awareness of their leadership style and competencies, as well as practical strategies to help them overcome challenges within their work and personal life.
The day will also consist of three practical development sessions for delegates:
– A Mindful and Resilient Leader
– Building Career Changing Connections and Networking Strategically
– Be Brave, Adaptive and Experimental
After the main part of the forum is completed, delegates will have the opportunity to mingle and network with the other attendees.

Registrations for the Australian Women’s Leadership Forum are available now through the WLA website.  Click here to book your place now.

Tracey is a passionate advocate for equality and social justice, and in 2018 she was named one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, Agenda Setter of the Year by Women’s Agenda, and was awarded an Order of Australia for her 30 years of media and charity work.

Tracey is also known for her wicked sense of humour and will bring her entertaining, yet empowering, style to the Townsville event.

“One of the biggest challenges for women living in rural and regional Australia is that it can be difficult for them to access opportunities that are available in the big cities.
Given that the gender pay gap is worse in rural and regional areas in Australia, I want the participants to feel they have the skills to take on a leadership position, support their fellow women in the workplace and confidently negotiate their salary packages.” – Tracey Spicer speaking about The Australian Women’s Leadership Forum.
